Group jumps, stabs man in Yonkers overnight

A man had to walk himself to the hospital after police say a group of five or six men attacked and stabbed him as he was walking through Getty Square in Yonkers last night.

Police say the suspects attacked the man just before 11 p.m. near the area of Main Street and North Broadway, stabbing him several times in his back and hand.

The victim was able to walk himself to nearby Saint Joseph's Hospital where he was treated for wounds described as non-life threatening.

Yonkers police are investigating the crime. There have been no arrests yet in the case.
