Cops: Mom drove wrong way with kids, booze in car

A Yonkers mother was arrested in Ardsley after police say she drove the wrong way on a one-way street while drunk and with kids in the car, nearly crashing into an off-duty police officer head on.

Yossi Ventura was pulled over Tuesday afternoon by the off-duty officer who says Ventura was traveling the wrong way on Saw Mill River Road near Heatherdell road with her 9 and 11-year-old daughters in the car.

Police say they also found a container of alcohol in the car.

Ventura is facing multiple charges under Leandra's Law because there were kids in the car.

Sources tell News 12 that Ventura's children are now with a relative.
