2 arrested in attempted ATM robbery in Elmsford

Police arrested two suspects today accused of attempting to rob a woman at gunpoint at an ATM in Elmsford this week.

Investigators say Tara Persaud was the getaway driver when James Graziano approached the victim and asked her to withdraw money from her account.

The victim, Noelia Camacho-Kelly, says she tricked the suspect by pretending to punch numbers on the keypad and inserting her ATM card upside down.

In addition to attempted robbery charges, Graziano and Persaud have also been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, because police say the victim's son was in her car at the time of the attempted robbery.

Police say the suspects were also recently arrested on drug charges.
