More than 200 graduate from Mount Vernon High School

For 274 Mount Vernon High School students, today was the culmination of years of hard work.

For many students, this year was full of more than just the usual course work. They had to deal with the school auditorium?s roof collapsing, as well as violent episodes erupting in the hallways.

But for the students, it was time to put that all behind them and look forward to the future. Many students will be heading off to college, such as Jameil Clarke, who will be going to Alfred State to study accounting.
