Fundraiser held for family of fallen White Plains officer

Hundreds packed a White Plains bar Sunday to honor a police officer who died in the line of duty.

Police officers, firefighters and members of the community came together to help raise money for Detective Michael Perry's family. Perry suffered a heart attack on June 12 while chasing down a career criminal. Perry left behind a wife and twin 6-year-old sons.

The White Plains PBA organized the fundraiser at the Porter House. Those who attended say Perry was loved by many in the community.
