Suspected Scarsdale mobster enters not guilty plea

An accused mobster from Scarsdale entered a not guilty plea for his role in a multibillion-dollar gambling ring yesterday.

Joseph DiNapoli and nearly three dozen other accused mobsters faced a New Jersey judge yesterday on gambling, money laundering and racketeering charges.

Authorities say DiNapoli controlled a gambling ring run by the reputed Lucchese organized crime family, relying on extortion and violence to collect debts.
