Local pizzeria garners global reputation

Amore Pizza in Scarsdale is getting a bit more attention lately after it's top chef placed as one of the best pizza makers in the world at a competition in Italy recently.

Employees at the pizzeria say that Bruno DiFabio taught them everything they know, and that he's got a resume to prove he's one of the best.

DiFabio says he's won five world titles and two U.S. titles in pizza making. He's won the title of the fastest, the largest stretch, and most recently for best taste during a competition in Italy.

Long-time customer's say that they only hope DiFabio doesn't leave his Scarsdale home with his newfound fame. DiFabio says that's not going to happen, and that he plans to stay in Westchester. "It's my life."
