Mom pleads for info in Yonkers double murder

A mother has issued a plea asking for the public's help in finding the person who fatally stabbed her son and his girlfriend in Yonkers six months ago.

Tyrone Greene and Shaquilla Roman were murdered in their apartment at 637 Van Cortlandt Ave. back in January.

Greene's mother, Roslin Northhover, says her son earned a GED and was on the right path. However, sources tell News 12 the 25-year-old was a member of the Bloods gang and was on parole for armed robbery and burglary.

Police say they found crack cocaine and a scale inside Greene's apartment after the murder.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Yonkers Police Department at 914-377-7725.
