Teen, 5-year-old among victims in Yonkers shooting

Yonkers police say a 5-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were among those injured in an early morning shooting.

Six people in total were shot, two who succumbed to their injuries. Police say Carlton McLeod, 23, and Kasheem Little, 21, died after the shooting in the Cromwell Towers apartments at 77 Locust Hill Ave. just after 1 a.m.

Investigators say Little was a known leader of the Strip Boyz, a local street gang based in the Shlobaum Public Housing Complex.

The four other victims are listed in stable condition at an area hospital.

Police say they are looking for three men who were spotted running from the scene.
