Hundreds still without power in WC

Con Ed crews say that the number of Westchester residents without power is down to just under 600 as of 10 p.m.

Crews worked throughout the day to restore power to thousands of Westchester residents, who were without electricity after the region experienced the hottest day on record in nearly nine years.

While some have opted to sleep in their cars, Con Ed is asking those with power to try to conserve energy by switching their AC units to fan mode.
