Arrests in Novack death brings past allegations to light

Prosecutors today said the stunning 2009 murder of hotel heir Ben Novack Jr. in Rye Brook was a plot to get the multimillionaire's money.

In charging Novack's wife, her brother and two others, authorities may have figured out a murder mystery that stretched from Florida to Rye Brook.

An investigation by authorities into Novack's death unearthed details about domestic violence allegations lodged by Novack and his wife, Narcy Novack, an alleged kinky sex life and one of the world's largest collections of Batman memorabilia.

A police report provided to News 12 by a Florida police department also described a 2002 armed home invasion and robbery targeting Ben Novack Jr. In the report, Novack placed blame for the attack on his wife and local mobsters.
