WC voting locale forced to move after bed bug infestation

A bed bug infestation in Yonkers is not only forcing some senior citizens to deal with the creepy critters, but is also now causing problems for eventual voters who were scheduled to vote at the infected location.

An infestation at the Kubasek Trinity Manor senior complex forced poll workers to move the voting locale to 450 Walnut St. in Yonkers until further notice.

Managers at the complex sent letters to residents this week, saying that bed bugs had been found in one of the building's units.

The community room had to be closed down for extermination, leaving tenants and nearby voters without the convenience of a local polling center for next Tuesday's election.
