Gubernatorial candidates make last push for support

With mere hours remaining until the polls open, Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Andrew Cuomo and Republican Carl Paladino were out doing last-minute campaigning across the state yesterday.

Paladino was in Rochester, stressing his message of being an Albany outsider and fighting corruption.

Cuomo was in Buffalo, where Paladino is from, firing up a crowd of supporters talking about the importance of keeping Democrats in office.

The final Siena poll numbers released today show that Cuomo has a commanding 25-point lead over Paladino.

Polls open tomorrow statewide at 6 a.m.
