Police say 23-year-old Douglas Kozar and a co-worker were walking along a sidewalk in Tampa, Fla. Saturday when prominent local dentist Matthew Moye crashed his Cadillac into them, killing both. Moye was allegedly drunk at the time. Kozar attended St. Matthews's School in Hastings. His family moved to Cortlandt and he graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School. He then moved to Tampa to attend college and later took a job with the Marriott hotel chain. Loved ones remembered Kozar as an avid fisherman who brightened up any room.Moye was charged with driving while intoxicated, manslaughter and vehicular homicide.
