Yonkers DPW worker allegedly drunk, asleep at stoplight

Yonkers police say they gave a city DPW worker a rude awakening over the weekend when they found him asleep at the wheel, with his car in gear, at a green light.

Police say Tarik Stoby, a city sanitation worker, was found asleep and at the wheel in his SUV on Saturday, with other drivers apparently honking and swerving around him.

When cops woke Stoby up, they say he started punching an officer. Stoby allegedly had cocaine, an open bottle of beer and some cognac in his SUV.
