2 Orange County mansions destroyed in separate fires

Firefighters battled two separate mansion fires in Orange County overnight.

The first fire started in Circleville just after midnight on Saturday but firefighters say the blaze was too intense to stop before reducing the home to rubble.

The second fire, only 15 minutes away in Montgomery started a few hours later. Firefighters there were able to save only the garage.

The only injury reported was a firefighter who twisted his ankle at the scene of the Montgomery blaze.

Investigators say they do not believe the fires were related, but are continuing to investigate the cause of each fire.
