2 Yonkers men arrested for human trafficking

Police in Providence, R.I. have arrested two men in charges of human trafficking and child prostitution.

Andy Fahkoury, 23, and Joseph Defeis were arrested after a sting operation, accused of using intimidation and threats to force girls as young as 16 into prostitution since 2007.

The men were arrested on Oct. 30 after cooperation from a 19-year-old victim and a law change in Rhode Island.

Police say that when the two were arrested they also found a pound of marijuana in their possession.

Falkoury is facing six felony counts which each carry 20 years in prison. Defeis is facing a number of lesser counts and has been out on bail since Nov. 5.
