Witness: Mayor Bradley's wife has history of lying

The defense for White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley called more witnesses to the stand today in its attempt to discredit his wife's domestic-abuse claims.

Akiko Yamanaka was a secretary at the Kodomono Kuni Kindergarten School, where Fumiko Bradley worked some 12 years ago. She said that the mayor's wife had a reputation within the school for lying and making up stories.

The defense says that because of that, she was fired from the school in 1999.

Bradley's attorney is trying to paint Fumiko Bradley, who has filed the nine domestic-abuse charges, as a liar with a hot temper.

The defense says that Mayor Bradley may testify on his own behalf, depending on how the testimony from other witnesses goes.
