Judge rules all ballots must be counted in contested WC races

Two weeks after Election Day, more than 10,000 ballots have yet to be counted in Westchester County.

A judge ruled today that all of the ballots must be counted as two hotly contested races, the 37th state Senate District and 89th state Assembly District, remain undecided.

The state Senate race could determine the balance of power in Albany. Democrat Suzi Oppenheimer currently is 500 votes ahead of her opponent, Republican Bob Cohen.
