Yonkers resident wins big with scratch-off

Michael McDonald, of Yonkers, went to bed and woke up a millionaire.

McDonald, a purchasing agent for the Scarsdale School District, paid $20 for scratch-off tickets and one proved to be a winner.

For the next 20 years, McDonald and his wife will receive a check for $32,000.

McDonald says he will continue to work for the Scarsdale School District although he is planning a trip to the Empire Casino, located in Yonkers.
