Shoe repair shop donates turkeys to those in need

A Yonkers shoe repair shop is giving turkeys to 125 local families this year.

Located in Getty Square, Harry's Shoe Repair began giving out turkeys to the people who lined up early this morning.

Harry Wesley, the owner, has been giving away turkeys to those who need it for the past 20 years. Wesley says the need this year is particularly severe.

Thanksgiving isn't the only holiday in which Wesley gives a helping hand to the community. He also is conducting a coat drive in conjunction with the Yonkers Fire Department.
