Chester Board of Education votes to suspend principal

The Chester School Board of Education voted tonight to suspend Principal Ernie Jackson after he allegedly went to a student?s home to see if he was actually sick.

Jackson is accused of entering the house without permission and while the child?s parent was not home to ensure that the student was out sick.

The board voted to suspend the principal with pay pending a disciplinary hearing. A police complaint was also filed by the parent of the student, but so far no charges have been filed.
