Auto repair shop owner picks up the pieces after fire

The owner of an auto repair shop in Briarcliff Manor is picking up the pieces after a fire destroyed his business and his antique cars.

The flames broke out early Thursday morning and destroyed Billy's Auto Repair on North State Road. Billy Egloff says the fire not only destroyed his shop and cars, but also his grandfather's tools and important business papers.

The fire is still under investigation. Egloff says he does have insurance and plans to rebuild his shop.
