Audi A4 donated to Roosevelt High School as learning tool
Roosevelt High School's automotive department has received a very generous and technically advanced donation. A red Audi A4 was donated to allow students to take apart and part back together as invaluable practice.
The car was donated by the Universal Technical Institute to the Yonkers school as a tool to help students prepare for the competitive world of auto technology.
"We want to bring students into the computer age of automotive technology a little bit away from the wrench," says Jerry Ellner, the director of the Institute. "Today the number one tool used at a dealership is a laptop not a wrench."
The program at the high school is very popular among students and there is currently a wait list to get into this course.
