Bronxville H.S. football reveling in first state championship win

A southern Westchester high school football team made history this weekend when it won the state Class C championship, adding to its school's already historic year for sports.

The Bronxville Broncos have made it to the Syracuse University tournament three times since 1997, but have never taken home the championship.

Athlete Christian Conway attributes the win to the team's hard work, but also to the outpouring of support from the community. While teammate Kevin Bisconti agrees with Conway, he thinks there may be a little more at play than just hard work. "We've been in there three times, and I guess that the third time is a charm."

The girls' soccer team also took home the state championship this year for the first time, as well as the girls' cross country team.
