Closing arguments delivered in Mayor Bradley's domestic-abuse trial

? The prosecution and defense presented their closing arguments yesterday in the domestic-abuse case against White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley.

The prosecution contended that Bradley was paying for testimony from witnesses such as Yuko Watanabe, the couple's former au-pair.

The defense questioned Fumiko Bradley's testimony, pleading with the judge to analyze her motives in the case. The defense has maintained that Bradley?s wife fabricated the original abuse charge when she learned her husband might be leaving her.

Mayor Bradley is facing nine misdemeanor charges currently but the prosecution asked the judge to add a 10th charge of attempted assault.

Judge Susan Capici said today that she will issue a decision in the case on Dec. 9.
