Pace student pronounced dead in dorm room

Friends and family are mourning after a student at Pace University died Wednesday night in his dorm room.

School officials say that students began calling 911 after Luke Arneson, a junior, had multiple seizures. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say Arneson, 25 of Walden, suffered from epilepsy, although the exact cause of his death has yet to be determined by the Medical Examiner?s Office.

A psychology major, Arneson had also served in the Marines before coming to Pace. He was in the process of organizing a student veterans group on campus.

This is the second student death in less than two months at Pace University after football player DJ Danroy Henry was shot and killed by police outside a bar in Thornwood.

Arneson's family is in the process of making funeral arrangements.
