Ex-state Senator Vincent Leibell is now expected to plead guilty in federal court Monday.

Leibell is accused of bribery and money laundering in connection with his million-dollar home in Putnam County.

Sources say Leibell is expected to serve less than two years in prison as part of a plea deal.

The Putnam County Legislature will have to fill the interim executive seat after Jan. 1 when the post can officially be declared vacant.
