Aunt indicted for allegedly stabbing young nieces in WC home

A woman from upstate New York has been indicted on attempted murder and assault charges after allegedly stabbing her two young nieces while she was supposed to be baby-sitting them in their Katonah home.

Lisa Turkki is scheduled to be formally arraigned today for the July incident in which her 7- and 9-year-old nieces were stabbed multiple times at their Girdle Ridge Road home.

Investigators say that Turkki was on prescription medication at the time, but wouldn't say what the medication was for.

The family of the victims' has reportedly filed four orders of protection to prevent Turkki from contacting them.
