Funeral today for OC soldier who suffered apparent seizure

Funeral services will be held today for a soldier from Orange County who died in his Pace University dorm room after apparently suffering a series of seizures.

Friends and family say that Luke Arneson, of Walden, may have been suffering from extra stress since returning from multiple combat service tours abroad, noting that Arneson had never experienced a seizure prior to this summer, when he returned from his second tour in Iraq.

Arneson was found by a fellow student Wednesday night, but an exact cause of death has not been determined.

Services today will be held at 10 a.m. at Saint Patrick's Church in Highland Mills. He will be buried with full military honors at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen.
