WC high schoolers produce PSA to combat drinking, drugs

A group of Eastchester High School students is making a plea to its parents about underage drug and alcohol abuse, and it may not be the plea one would expect.

The students wrote, produced and starred in the video, which is aimed at getting parents to be tough on their kids when it comes to teen drinking and drug use. The video includes lines such as "please don't be the cool parent who allows me and my friends to drink at our house" and "set a curfew for me and hold me accountable to the time."

The teens are members of a leadership program called M-Powered, which is part of a larger organization, Eastchester Communities That Care.
