Garza family speaks of tortuous ordeal
The family of slain dancer Laura Garza went on national television today, a day after convicted sex offender Michael Mele was charged in her death.
From their home in Texas, the Garza family spoke on NBC's 'TODAY' show of their ordeal. The family talked about the 16-month search for Laura's body that ended last April when her remains were found in a wooded area just outside Scranton, Pa., and now the news that Mele would be standing trial for her death.
Mele will be arraigned Monday.
