Boy continues recovery following weekend hunting accident

The 9-year-old boy shot in a hunting accident over the weekend in Montgomery is continuing to recover at Westchester Medical Center.

David Calabrese was shot in the stomach Saturday when 47-year-old Douglas Sisco mistook him for a deer and shot him.

Classmates of Calabrese at East Caldenham Elementary School spent the day making get-well cards and talking with counselors to help them deal with the shooting.

Sisco has been charged with reckless endangerment and several environmental conservation violations.
