The Westchester County Bomb Squad was called to the area of Mamaroneck and Hillside avenues at around 10:30 a.m. after a store owner reported a vehicle that was illegally parked outside of his business.

Police responded and saw what appeared to be an explosive device inside of the car. The owner of the car was eventually contacted and an investigation revealed that the item was a prop from his daughter's Halloween costume.
