5 City Council members call on White Plains mayor to resign

The calls are getting louder for White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley to resign following his domestic-abuse conviction, with five members of the City Council now urging him to step down.

Following his conviction, some residents also started to circulate a petition to get Bradley to resign.

Mayor Bradley was convicted last Thursday on charges that he hit his wife, Fumiko Bradley, during an argument. The mayor has continued to deny that he ever assaulted his wife.

In an exclusive interview with News 12 yesterday, Mayor Bradley said he has not been distracted by the court case and is completely focused on his job.

An ethics investigation has also been launched to examine where he lived after the domestic-violence incident.
