Woman jolted by electrical shock at Eastchester NYSC

The county clerk's office is investigating after a woman received an electrical shock while working out on a treadmill at an Eastchester health club yesterday morning.

Members of the county clerk's staff say they are checking to see if the electrician at the New York Sports Club location has a Westchester County license.

According to the club's manager, the treadmills are being checked and they are trying to figure out what caused the shock.

The woman was taken to the hospital, but fire officials say she did not appear to be seriously injured.
