Bizarre hit-and-run incident leaves 1 critical, 2 injured

A bizarre series of hit-and-run incidents in White Plains has left one man in critical condition and two others injured.

Police say that 23-year-old Raul Rios was struck by a hit-and-run driver at around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Immediately after being struck, two good Samaritans came over to try and help Rios when police say they were struck by another driver who then fled.

Authorities were able to catch up with the second alleged hit-and-run driver whom they identify as 22-year-old David Rivera-Baustista.

Officials say that Rios is in critical condition at the Westchester Medical Center. The two good Samaritians only suffered minor injuries.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call them at 914-422-6217.
