Suspect arrested in fatal stabbing in White Plains

Police say they have arrested a person of interest in a fatal stabbing in White Plains this morning.

Investigators say that 46-year-old James Humbert was stabbed around 11 a.m. Sunday while walking out of a barber shop on South Lexington Avenue.

According to police, Humbert became involved in a fight which escalated and resulted in Humbert's death.

Residents say that the area is a hot spot for crime and they are fearful that retaliatory attacks may occur.
