Ossining teens plead guilty to setting fire

Two young step-sisters from Ossining each plead guilty Monday to a felony arson charge for setting their parents' house on fire.

Miranda Fernandez, 14, and Pauline Benefield, 15, admitted to sparking the blaze at their family's home on Jenkins Street back in March, officials said.

The girls will reportedly serve one year of interim probation. If they complete it successfully, they will receive five years of additional probation with credit for one year served.
