Police: 2 men broke into occupied Brewster home

Police say they are investigating an apparent home invasion that occurred in Brewster yesterday morning.

Cops say two men that were pretending to deliver flowers pushed through the front door of a home on Bloomer Road after a woman who was baby-sitting a toddler answered the door.

Investigators say the men did steal something from the home, but won't reveal what was stolen.

Police say the two victims were unharmed by the men and that the toddler never had contact with the men.

Neighbors say they are shocked that it could happen and say they are staying on alert and making sure their doors are locked.
