WC Exec. Astorino urges residents to stay home

County Executive Rob Astorino (R-Westchester) sat down with News 12 yesterday to discuss the conditions across the county due to the blizzard and urged residents to stay home. Astorino said that crews are out across the county trying to clear primary roads to keep them passable. He said that while some local towns are issuing their own states of emergency, the county isn?t planning on doing so. A countywide state of emergency would close all roads to vehicles, except for emergency personnel. Astorino insisted that residents should not go out unless absolutely necessary.Weather Center Watch News 12 Watch News 12 Traffic and Weather View/Submit Photos
