NYSEG says power will be restored overnight

After the blizzard knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses in Westchester County, NYSEG officials say they expect power to be restored to all of its customers overnight.

As of 10 p.m. there were 270 customers throughout the Hudson Valley without electricity.

Crews from NYSEG handed out bottled water and other emergency supplies at a Somers fire station today to assist those who lost power.

NYSEG representatives say that as many as 9,000 customers were without power at the height of the outages.
