Yonkers students place flags on veterans' graves

Students from St. Anthony School in Yonkers paid a visit to St. Joseph's Cemetery this morning to honor fallen veterans.

Sixth- and seventh-graders were joined by local veterans to place flags at the graveside of deceased service members.

The students say it means a lot to them to give back to American heroes.

This is the second year students at St. Anthony School have taken part in this community service project ahead of Memorial Day events at the cemetery.
