Rockland DA talks Little League thefts, bin Laden

Matt Sampson this morning to discuss the recent arrest of a Little League treasurer, local security precautions in the wake of Osama bin Laden's death and a recent drug arrest at a local ice cream parlor.

Joyce Bidnick, the former treasurer of the New City Little League, recently admitted to stealing $100,000 from the league. Zugibe says that other organizations can prevent thefts like Bidnick's by making sure that one person alone isn't responsible for the finances of an entire group.

Zugibe talked about the need for increased awareness in the wake of Osama bin Laden's death, given that one of the largest malls in the entire country is in Rockland.
