Political spat continues in WC over sexually suggestive email

After a week of political bickering, accusations and inappropriate emails, the political fighting continued today between County Board Chairman Ken Jenkins (D-Yonkers) and County Executive Rob Astorino (R-Westchester) and his chief of staff, George Oros.

This morning at a sub-committee meeting attended by Oros and an aide, legislators tried to have the two escorted out by a police officer.

Oros is under fire for an email he sent which described members of the board in sexually suggestive terms.

He refused to leave the meeting and the matter was not pursued further.

Astorino's administration issued a statement saying that Jenkins was wrong for trying to ban Oros, but that both sides have agreed to put an end to the issue.Political spat among WC lawmakers intensifiesExec. Astorino's chief of staff apologizes for email
