Another candidate expected in Yonkers mayoral race

that Katherine Brezler, who works at School 32, will announce her campaign for mayor in the next 24 hours.

Brezler, who previously announced her plans to run for a seat on the city council in March of this year, faces some major political players in the race for mayor, including Assemblyman Mike Spano, City Council President Chuck Lesnick, former Council President Richard Martinelli and Councilman John Murtagh. Also rumored to be considering the position are Republican Deputy Mayor Bill Regan and community activist Robert Flower.
