Yonkers Democrats nominate Spano for mayor

At a Democratic convention tonight, the party selected New York State Assemblyman Mike Spano as their nominee to be Yonkers mayor.

Spano will likely face a primary challenge from Republican Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick.

The election will replace current Republican Yonkers Mayor Phil Amicone, who is term-limited.
