Quick-thinking driver saves WC students from flaming bus

The actions of a quick-thinking bus driver likely saved his life, and the lives of six Fox Lane High School students yesterday, after the bus they were riding in burst into flames. Police say the fire erupted around 3 p.m. on Pine Brook Road, just after the driver noticed smoke coming from the hood of the bus.

While officials say the fire took only 10 minutes to put out, it left the bus a charred-skeleton. No one was injured in the incident.
