News 12 has obtained 911 audio recordings from the night of the Hudson River tragedy.

The Newburgh Fire Department is heard on the recordings requesting a dive team from a 911 dispatcher on April 12. A firefighter tells the dispatcher that a minivan with a mother and child is in the river.

Firefighters were first on the scene after Lashanda Armstrong drove into the Hudson with her four children in tow. Officials were alerted to the scene by the lone survivor, 10-year-old La'Shaun Armstrong, who managed to escape the sinking vehicle and swim to safety.
