Man injured in Greenburgh shooting

Police say a man is recovering after he was shot in the leg early this morning in Greenburgh. At around 1:40 a.m., police say that multiple shots were fired on Carlton Street, with one of the bullets hitting a 21-year-old man.

Officials say the man was on his way home from a party with his girlfriend when they were approached by a man with a gun. The two tried fleeing north on Carlton Street when the man fired numerous shots, hitting both the victim and parked cars.
